What makes Petit Folks different (and why does it matter)
Share
Today I want to share something different.
Normally I talk here about parenting, education, and music. But today I’d like to open a little window into what’s behind Petit Folks.
Because Petit Folks wasn’t born in the office of a big publishing house. It was born at home, from my own experience as a mother and the wish to accompany my little ones with songs, play, and connection.
It’s a small project, one I’ve poured so much love into and where, although amazing people have supported me along the way, there’s no big company behind it. Just me.
And what makes it different?
✨ It’s truly a sustainable game.
— The boxes and cards are made from locally sourced wood, and the packaging is cardboard.
— You won’t find plastics, neither in the product, the packaging, nor in the shipping.
✨ Production is also local, made right here.
✨ And for the past few months, we’ve been making it together with a foundation that promotes social and work inclusion for people with disabilities or at risk of exclusion.
That way we close a circle that makes me proud: Petit Folks is not only a beautiful educational tool to accompany your little one. It’s also a way of caring for the planet and supporting people.
Sometimes, when we look at a price, we forget everything that lies behind it.
At Petit Folks, every detail is thought through with care and purpose.
Thank you for being here and for valuing projects like mine.
Thank you for believing that another way of doing things is possible.
