FAQs

How and where can I purchase Petit Folks?

Currently, Petit Folks is only available for purchase through our website, starting on March 21st, 2024. However, we're continuously exploring opportunities to expand availability to select stores that align with our values.

How long does it take to prepare and ship orders?

We typically prepare orders within 1-2 business days, and shipments are handled through Correos. Shipping time within Spain is usually between 2-5 business days, while for Europe, it ranges from 4-7 business days (customs processing time not included if applicable).

Please note that currently, we do not ship outside of Europe.

Is there a box to start with? Is there an order to follow when purchasing boxes?

The beauty of Petit Folks is that each box is designed to work independently, yet they also come together to form a precious collection that transcends children's ages within the early childhood stage (specifically ages 1 to 6).

Every family understands their child's unique needs and interests. If you're unsure where to begin, the Animal World box is a great choice. Animals universally captivate children of all ages, making it an ideal starting point. It also introduces them to some of the Folks characters they'll encounter in other boxes.

The songs within each box have been thoughtfully selected to cater to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged kids. Children's interests and learning stages differ, even among those of the same age. Within each box/theme, there will be songs that are currently more appealing but may become less so in the future, and vice versa. This adaptability is what makes Petit Folks a timeless treasure, capable of engaging and enchanting children as they grow and develop.

What are the available languages? Are we considering adding more languages?

At first, we focused on languages we knew, considering it a logical starting point. However, our vision is to make this game accessible to as many people as possible. As Petit Folks expands, our team will grow too, welcoming individuals who can help us embrace other languages and cultures. Currently, English, Spanish, and Catalan are available, and we hope to include French, Portuguese, Italian, German, and more. We invite you to connect with us via our contact form to contribute to our mission of expanding and diversifying languages. Together, let's make Petit Folks a truly inclusive experience.

Which are the themes under each collection?

Each language collection in Petit Folks consists of multiple boxes, each with a unique theme. For the initial release, we have three languages/collections, with two boxes/themes per language:

  1. Animal World
  2. Play And Move

These two themes are available in English, Spanish and Catalan.

As we continue to develop Petit Folks, we are already working on exciting themes for future releases. While we can't confirm the order, we are exploring the following themes:

  1. Fairytales, popular characters, and stories
  2. Time and weather
  3. Habits, routines, and feelings
  4. Numbers and letters

Stay tuned as we expand the collection, offering a diverse range of themes to enhance learning and engagement for children.

What should you expect from this plaything?

This game empowers children with independence and autonomy during playtime. However, its true potential is unlocked when parents, teachers, and caregivers actively engage. Prepare to be amazed by the rapid learning, remarkable memory, and understanding capabilities of children, while fostering a strong bond between them and their caregivers.

Who is behind Petit Folks

I'm the founder of Petit Folks. A mother, a worker and an entrepreneur that found in Petit Folks a way to combine my three personalities and a way to not have to give up anything (or, at least, to give up less). But I'm not alone in this path.

Early childhood educators, music educators, musicians, toy industry professionals, marketing and communication experts, and, above all, wonderful individuals, accompany me on this journey.

Where does the idea come from?

The first prototype of Petit Folks was actually a box that I created for my daughter. I gave it to her when she was 18 months. It included more than 80 songs from two different languages. She loved it. And, after a few weeks, she already recognized all visuals and was capable of singing or humming most of the songs. Now she is 3 years old and she stills plays with the box almost every day. Her brother, who is 1 year old now, has already started grabbing and playing with the cards.

Where was the game designed and where was it produced?

Petit Folks was thoughtfully conceived and lovingly produced in Spain, with a strong commitment to local production. Our aim is to minimize our environmental impact by keeping the production process close to home. By embracing local resources and craftsmanship, we strive to reduce transportation-related emissions and support sustainable practices. We take pride in our dedication to creating a game that not only brings joy to children but also aligns with our environmental values.

In addition to being designed and produced in Spain, Petit Folks is crafted using locally sourced wood. We prioritize sustainability by utilizing materials that are readily available in our region. By selecting local wood, we not only support the local economy but also ensure that our game aligns with our commitment to reducing environmental impact. The use of natural, locally sourced wood adds a touch of warmth and authenticity to the game, creating a meaningful connection between children and the environment.
