Yes, the house is noisy… and that’s a wonderful thing

Today the house sounds different.
New toys… songs playing on repeat (maybe one from Petit Folks? 😊)… footsteps, laughter, excitement bouncing off the walls.
And yes: a little bit of chaos too.

But that noise —the noise of right now, of these wonderfully intense days— is a gift in itself.

Noise means they feel free.
That they’re comfortable.
That home is a place where they can be themselves, invent, play, express.

Sometimes we think we should “tidy up”, “turn the volume down”, “bring some calm”.
But the truth is: all that sound is pure development.

And when the noise comes with music —when you sing together, when they follow the rhythm, when they repeat a melody— that’s where the magic happens: they regulate, they express, they connect with themselves and with you.

At Petit Folks we believe deeply in that —in free play, in music lived with the whole body, in those songs that fill the home with life (and yes, sometimes a lot of volume 😉).

Because a noisy home is a home where a child grows.

So today, on Three Kings’ Day… if your house is livelier than ever, celebrate it.
It means your little one has a home where they’re allowed to sound loud.

✨ And if, on top of everything, this year brought a new noisy instrument…
well… all I can say is: Happy Three Kings’ Day. 😄
