Car rides can be very tedious for little ones. For long trips, we try to schedule them during nap times. But for shorter trips, it's sometimes better if they don't fall asleep.
Creating a routine of singing in the car is a perfect solution to keep them entertained while they learn. My kids, as soon as they get in the car, already ask for music. Even the little one, who is just starting to talk, gets upset if we stop the music. It's funny because he's rear-facing, so we can't see him... but suddenly you hear him laughing (especially with the song "Juguemos en el bosque") or singing a part of a song.
Additionally, this is a way for them to learn new vocabulary and more complex structures without even realizing it.
And you, what routines do you have for car rides? If you want to join this routine, all you have to do is download the Petit Folks app.
