Discover the magic of Petit Folks through the words of its creator

This week has been very special for me. I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Ester Plana on the Set de sons program on Catalunya Música, and I couldn’t be more excited to have shared the essence of Petit Folks in such a personal and in-depth way, something I don’t always have the time to explain in as much detail when talking to families and teachers.

In the interview, I talked about how this project was born, the spark that led me to reinvent the traditional children's songbook, and the passion with which I’ve created each of the resources that go along with it: the songs, the illustrations, the activities... all designed for you to enjoy moments of play, music, and bonding with your little ones.

One of the most beautiful things about children’s music is that it not only entertains but also has a profound impact on the development of our daughters and sons. Through songs, they can improve their language skills, strengthen their motor skills, learn to manage their emotions, and most importantly, create those essential emotional bonds.

This is precisely what I aim to convey with Petit Folks: that music is the key to unlocking magical moments, whether at home or in the classroom.

If you’d like to learn a bit more about the project, its origins, and the wonderful people behind the music, I invite you to listen to the full interview here.

For me, Petit Folks is much more than just songs and learning: it’s a way to create lasting memories and unforgettable experiences with our little ones.

Musical hugs,
Marta
