Back to school (no magic formulas, but with songs)
Share
Is there a perfect formula for going back to school?
Spoiler: nope.
The theory says the best thing is to gradually return to routines: bring bedtime forward, adjust sleep, get materials ready…
But real life is different: every family has its own rhythm, its own pace, its own way.
And what works one year, might not the next.
A piece of advice?
Be there without rushing or demanding. Validate what they feel, without trying to fix it all.
Back-to-school time brings changes and mixed emotions, and they don’t always know how to express them.
What helps?
Being present. Singing together. Playing without a rush. Repeating familiar songs.
Creating calm moments where they feel safe, seen and supported.
Petit Folks can be part of this new stage too.
With songs that turn into rituals, with games that reconnect, with music that soothes.
You've got this!
Back to school is for all of us.
And if there's music, it’ll feel a little lighter.
